I have read that 1m and 3m cables are available in addition to the default 0 5m stackwise cable. If you only use it to make a long chain with 3meter cables then you set yourself up for realy poor performance under load and trouble with split stacks and such things. Sfp and sfp mod ules. The catalyst 3560 x switch supports the sfp mod ule patch ca ble a 0 5 meter copper passive cable with sfp module connectors at each end. If you don t specify the length of the stackwise cable the 0 5 meter cable is supplied. I was wondering if there was a way to see if the port was administrativly down.
